About Lil' Guppies Swim School
Lil’ Guppies Swim School teaches all ages and skill levels throughout Los Angeles and Sarasota areas. Starting from as young as 4 months old, our Lil' Guppies team prioritizes water safety and survival skills for beginners, and then continually builds on this foundation as we progress our students to be strong, safe, and successful swimmers!
Lil’ Guppies provides a gentle, nurturing, and flexible approach to swim lessons and works with families to achieve goals and foster confidence and a positive association with the water.
Lil’ Guppies Swim School was started in the summer of 2006 in Los Angeles, CA, by owner and lead instructor, Amy Diamond. With over 25 years of experience teaching swim lessons and water safety under her fins, Amy started Lil’ Guppies to incorporate her own experience and instructional style into her favorite sport and pastime and share the joy and benefits it has given her with those around her.
We are thrilled to announce that Lil' Guppies is now servicing Sarasota, Florida! Our goal is to inspire confidence and love for swimming in everyone we teach. We have a range of programs to cater to students of all ages and skill levels, from infant lessons to advanced stroke technique workshops. Our private lessons give our students the attention they need to become the best swimmers, and we use fun and interactive teaching methods to make sure lessons are both challenging and rewarding.
